On March 16, the congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) took place during the tenth Russian business week (March 13–17), the event formulates proposals for cooperation between the business community and state authorities in areas of importance.

President Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session of the congress and met with members of the RSPP Board.

The official delegation of the Ryazan region, headed by the acting Governor Nikolay Lyubimov, visited the event. The delegation included the first Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ryazan region Sergey Samokhin, Minister of economic development and trade of the Ryazan region Svetlana Goryachkina, Minister of industry, innovative and information technologies of the Ryazan region Igor Avdeev and RRCD CEO Anatoly Vorobyov.

Nikolay Lyubimov spoke on a topic «Attracting investment to the region: potential, prospects, priorities.» at the plenary session of the congress. The head of the region spoke about the benefits for investors provided in the Ryazan region, as well as work on further improvement of investment climate in the region. «We want to form a new image of the Ryazan region, an image of the region, which is attractive for people and investment. We have all conditions for this purpose » - said Nikolay Lyubimov.

The participants discussed issues on the economic agenda, in particular, perfecting the tax burden on businesses, and removing administrative barriers.
