According to the official website of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Ryazan region, on September 7, the opening ceremony of the children's technopark Druzhba of the federal Kvantorium network was held in Ryazan. The plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in a Central Federal District Alexander Beglov, the head of the Ryazan region Nikolay Lyubimov, the Governor of the Tula region Alexey Dyumin, Director General of the Foundation for New Forms of Education Development Marina Rakova and representatives of regional ministries and departments took part in the event.

The head of the Ryazan region, Nikolay Lyubimov noted that this facility is the first, but not the last in the Ryazan region. The head of the region also emphasized that Ryazan enterprises took part in creation of the educational center and they are waiting for engineers among the graduates of the technopark. Ryazan high education institutions are also planning to join the technopark soon.

After the opening ceremony, participants inspected premises of the technopark and got acquainted with its teachers and students.

The children's technopark Druzhba is a structural unit of Resource center for additional education and the largest socially significant infrastructure of the Ryazan pre-education, on the basis of which more than 800 young Ryazan students will study technical sciences. The list of the main educational programs of the technopark includes roboquantum (robotics and programming), aeroquantum (design and creation of unmanned aerial vehicles), industrial design (design of technological products), it-quantum (informatics and information security) and nanoquantum (materials science and nanotechnology).
